Former Mr. Zambia Lloyd Kyusa Pursuing Presidency in Bodybuilding

In the 2018 elections for the Zambia Body Building and Fitness Federation, former three-time Mr. Zambia Body Building Champion LLOYD KYUSA will run for president.

KYUSA, who held the title of Mr. Zambia from 2004 to 2006, said he chose to run for the top spot in order to bring about change.

When elected, the owner of the Kanyama gym says he intends to make a number of improvements, including making sure that the sport is more well known throughout the provinces.

According to KYUSA, who has served as an executive member under three regimes, body building is now only well-liked in the provinces of Lusaka and the Copperbelt, which has hampered the sport’s expansion as the majority of Provinces have not been examined.

Additionally, the current Federation President CORNELIUS CHANDA announced in an interview with ZNBC Sports News that he will run for re-election.

Since he was elected president in 2018, CHANDA claimed that a lot has changed, including an increase in internal competitions.

CHANDA said that if re-elected, he would make sure that new categories were added to competitions like Zed Nations and that athletes have the chance to compete in international events.

The annual general election for the ZBBFF will take place on January 21.
