In their debut Under 17 COSAFA Women’s championship game at the ongoing region 5 games in Malawi, Zambia’s under-17 women defeated Botswana by a score of five goals to nil.


He scored twice each side of halftime to give the young copper queens their decisive first victory.

More goals were scored for Zambia by ZANGOSE ZULU, HARRIET MATIPA, and JESSY ZULU.

On Monday, December 5 at 10:00 a.m., the winner of the semi final will face Comoros.

In yet another great game, Zambia defeated Malawi, the hosts, by a score of 15 to 7.

The secretary general of the Zambia Basketball Federation, RODRICK NDHLOVU, attributed Zambia’s promising start to their dedication to training and hard work.
