Gov. Pens Fiber Optic Contract

To deliver Optic Fibre internet services, the government and Liquid Intelligent Technologies have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, or MoU.

The Internet Service Provider Company will construct a cutting-edge data center in Lusaka as part of the Agreement, which was signed in Doha, Qatar, and offer free internet services to secondary schools.

FELIX MUTATI, Zambia’s Minister of Science and Technology, and NIC RUDNICK, representing Liquid Intelligent Technologies, both signed the document.

Science and Technology Minister FELIX Mutati highlighted the MoU as a landmark in the nation’s march toward digital transformation in remarks made following the signing ceremony.

According to Mr. Mutati, the development of a cutting-edge data center will establish Zambia as a regional data hub.

According to Mr. RUDNICK, his business is eager to collaborate with the Zambian government.
