Govt And FAO Will Reduce Food Insecurity

The government declares that it is prepared to cooperate with the FAO in reducing the shocks that the nation has experienced that have led to food and nutrition insecurity.

The COVID -19 pandemic, which has disrupted food systems, is one of the major shocks that Zambia has seen, according to Ministry of Agriculture Permanent Secretary -GREEN MBOZI.

At the Resilience Index Measurement Analysis – RIMA – regional training program in Lusaka, Mr. MBOZI was speaking.

The information generated from the RIMA workshop, according to FAO’s Country Representative, is crucial for decision making at various administrative levels.
