The M8 road reconstruction work in Northwestern Province’s Kabompo district has impressed the government.

However, AMBROSE LUFUMA, the defense minister, has urged for a long-term and comprehensive solution after seeing the damaged Sangelenge Bridge in the Kamafwafwa region.

The Zambia National Service (ZNS), which represents the Kabompo Constituency, has received praise from Mr. LUFUMA for its prompt response to the district’s natural tragedy.

ZNS Engineer EDWARD KANYUKA, in charge of the construction, said the service has so far developed a backup route that is allowing traffic to move without a hitch.
