NELLY MUTTI, the Speaker of the National Assembly, has asked Health Minister SILVIA MASEBO to make a ministerial statement regarding the Covid -19 situation in the nation on Thursday.
The order was given by Ms. Muti on Tuesday during the National Assembly’s “Matter of Urgent Public Importance Session” in accordance with Standing Order Number 135 Clause 1.
The COVID -19 situation report, according to her, will help ZAMBIANS become more aware of the health recommendations against the pandemic.
The update, according to Ms. MUTTI, would also instruct lawmakers on COVID regulations.
She claimed that the COVID status would provide more guidance to lawmakers regarding how the National Assembly would be sitting.
