Minnie Dlamini sheds Quinton Jones on his birthday?

2 days ago, well-known Mzansi presenter and actress Minnie Dlamini’s estranged husband, Quinton Jones turned 40 and on 12 September, the former Live Amp presenter decided to take to her Instagram Stories with a rather head-scratching message.

Earlier this year, Minnie Dlamini admitted to having struggled after announcing that she and her estranged husband Quinton Jones were filing for divorce. The couple were more than lovers and they were also business partners. They had tied the knot in 2017 and by 2022, they released a joint statement announcing their separation.

Previous to the announcement, they welcomed a bouncing baby boy whom they named Netha Makhosini Jones. He was born in November 2020.

On Quinton’s birthday this year, Dlamini decided to keep mum about her ex’s big day and instead posted a sizzling picture of herself wearing a bikini and having a drink in a pool. She also took to her Instagram Stories and left a rather interesting quote which read: “If you’re single, have some patience. Your soulmate is almost done with those divorce papers.”

It is uncertain whether she had intended to shade Quinton with her statement or if she was speaking of herself, or neither. However, one thing is for sure, and that is she is now living her best single life again.

Minnie Dlamini has been mingling with friends and keeping herself busy lately. A few weeks ago, she was spotted on a private jet with Don Design’s girlfriend Azola after painting the town red in Durban for the weekend.

According to TshisaLIVE, during a radio interview earlier this year, she got candid about having lost herself in her marriage.

“I never imagined getting divorced. I always thought I would raise my kids the same way I was raised … I just felt like for me, [the] timing was off, I felt like I didn’t know myself. Furthermore, I went on to further lose myself in my marriage,” she was quoted as saying.
