remains of Muna Singh arrive in the country

After being cremated on Sunday in India, legendary motor rally driver Muna Singh’s remains are expected to arrive in the nation today.

During his driving career, Singh, a motor rally great who was twice declared an African champion, passed away in India this week.

According to the Zambia Motorsport Association’s (ZMA) timetable, a book of condolences has been opened at the Mulungushi International Conference Centre (MICC), where a ceremony will take place today.

The program states that Singh’s family would depart from the Kenneth Kaunda International Airport (KKIA) with his remains and arrive at the Mulungushi International Conference Centre shortly after.

Elvis Nkandu, the minister of youth and sport, is among the government officials who are expected to lead the general public, sports officials, and other mourners in signing the book of condolences.
