Rhoda Njobvu’s 400-meter gold dream

RHODA NJOBVU, the third-fastest sprinter in Africa in the women’s 200-meter event, says she will compete in the 400-meter race the following year in an effort to win a gold medal.

In order to increase her chances of winning gold at the world championships and All Africa games, which will be hosted in Ghana, NJOVU says she would cast a wide net in the upcoming year.

She told ZNBC Sports News that by adding the 400-meter race to her list of sprint events, she will have more opportunities to win gold at the national and international levels.

NJOVU, who holds the women’s national records for the 100 and 200 meters, stated that her goal is to surpass all of this year’s accomplishments in all of her 2023 competitions.

She added that 2022 will be a terrific year and that, with continued effort and reliability, she would rank among the top in 2023.
