Mzansi soccer star, Kaizer Chiefs captain Itumeleng Khune and his wife Makhunga are making headlines after Mzansi connected the dots about their age difference in the backdrop of their recent picture-perfect photos.
The two recently shared their picture-perfect photos on Instagram, and the now-viral photos implicated their age difference into the mix.
Sphelele set social media abuzz after she gushed over Itumeleng Khune’s glow in an Instagram post. The two have been dubbed Mzansi’s power couple over the years.
Their youthful looks have often thrust them into the trends. It is shocking to many that Khune is still playing in the top-flight football at 35. The Kaizer Chiefs star was born on 20 June 1987 in Venterdorp, South Africa.
After revealing Itumeleng’s age, Mzansi quickly connected the dots about Sphelele Khune’s age. Sphelele is allegedly 25 years old.
Confirmed reports have it that Itumeleng and Sphelele Khune have a 10-year age gap. Little is known about when Sphelele was born, but she once revealed that she was not bothered by their age gap. She said she has always dreamed of having a family at a young age.
The two went public in 2019. However, they welcomed their first bundle of joy, Amogelang Zenande, in 2020. A year later, they welcomed their second child, Lesedi Ziyanda.
Itumeleng and Sphelele Khune had their traditional wedding in June 2022. Over the years, Sphelele has quickly become an influencer thanks to her huge social media following.
