The purchase of agricultural supplies for the 2023–2024 Farmer Input Support Programme–FISP–should begin the next month, according to an order from Agriculture Minister REUBEN MTOLO.
Additionally, Mr. MTOLO has ordered that contracts for the provision of inputs under the FISP be advertised by the end of the next month.
Today in Lusaka, during the 2022–2023 FISP performance review meeting, the Minister spoke.
Patrick Kangwa, secretary to the cabinet, also issued a warning to agricultural officials not to use unethical methods to carry out the 2023–2024 FISP program.
Government officials will be held accountable for any violations of the zero-tolerance policy for corruption on the FISP program, according to Mr. KANGWA.
