Zambia will play North Macedonia in their debut match of the Turkish Cup tomorrow, and Copper Queens Coach BRUCE MWAPE has proclaimed the team prepared.
Zambia will begin their campaign against North Macedonia at 10:00 tomorrow morning after Venezuela leaves.
As they compete against North Macedonia, Slovenia, and Uzbekistan in their group, MWAPE claims the team is up to the task.
The Copper Queens coach also stated that he would utilize the Turkish Cup to evaluate players who would make the final roster for the 2023 FIFA World Cup.
The expedition, according to MWAPE, is crucial because it will demonstrate how well-prepared the team is for the World Cup, which runs from July 20 to August 20, 2023.
Additionally, defenseman MARGARET BELEMU claims that the group is ready for their first game.
The Turkish Women’s Cup this year attracted the largest field of competitors in the competition’s history.
South Africa, North Macedonia, Uzbekistan, and Slovenia are all participating in addition to Zambia.
Bulgaria, Hong Kong, Estonia, and Kosovo are among the others.
