The Constituency Development Fund (CDF) should be used by Chisamba locals to develop enterprises and gain new skills, according to information and media minister CHUSHI KASANDA.
The Chisamba Member of Parliament, Ms. KASANDA, advises the locals to benefit from the government’s different empowerment initiatives in order to improve their life.
She has emphasized the necessity of locals forming cooperatives in order for them to take advantage of CDF and other empowerment initiatives.
Ms. KASANDA reportedly spoke at a project monitoring and sensitization meeting held at Nyankanga Primary School, according to ZANIS.
A bulldozer, a compactor, and a water bowser were among the pieces of equipment purchased by the Chisamba Town Council through CDF to aid in the district’s road construction, according to Ms. KASANDA.
She stated that the district’s road network will soon be improved by the local government.
