The number of visitors to the Victoria Falls climbed by 35% in the previous year.
In 2021, there were around 125,000 arrivals; in 2022, there were about 167,000.
And according to Richard Mbewe, acting director of the National Heritage Conservation Commission’s South West Region, just over 10,000 international visitors came in 2021, compared to more than 33,000 in 2022.
According to Mr. MBEWE, the rising figures show that the nation is breaking free from the COVID 19 restrictions.
