Minnie Dlamini on reports that she’s dating Yanga Chief

South African TV host and actress Minnie Dlamini has rubbished rumours that she’s dating musician Yanga Chief.

Sources close to the producer Minnie Dlamini informed Zimoja, that she’s been hanging out a lot with businessman Yanga Chief.

But the mother of one laughed off the rumours when she was contacted and said: “I’m not dating him. We are tight and have been mates since 2010. He used to date one of my girls. I’m not dating, but enjoying the single life and the attention”.

According to a local publication, Dlamini announced she and Jones decided to part ways in February 2022 after tying the knot in 2017 and giving the country a front-row seat to the wedding celebration in a three-part special, Becoming Mrs Jones.

Another source close to both Minnie Dlamini and Yanga Chief added they are so close that they are attached at the hip.

It is reported the two friends were once spotted being cosy at the late rapper AKA’s listening session in Bryanston, before his untimely death.

“We thought they were just friends, but it has become clear that they are more than just friends. Their bond is undeniable. “Minnie is allowed to have her own fun and she is not hurting anyone,” added the source.

Yanga Chief’s phone rang unanswered when he was contacted for a comment.
