The Ward Development Committees (WDCs) have been asked by the Kabwata Constituency Development Fund (CDF) Committee to direct candidates toward TEVETA-affiliated colleges.
After complaints of some applicants who are registering institutions that are not linked with TEVETA, Committee Chairperson CHILEKWA MUNKONGE provided instructions.
More than 1,000 persons in the Constituency have applied for the skills development component, according to Mr. MUNKONGE.
He claims that the huge response demonstrates that individuals recognize the value of returning to school.
In an interview with ZNBC News, Mr. Munkonge further urged the Ministry of Local Government to expedite the clearance of Secondary School bursary applications from CDF.
