Namabunga Mukubesa, the catastrophe victim’s nephew, told Mwebantu that his uncle had lost 10 animals at a goal when they were all struck by lightning, leaving him in a state of panic.

“My uncle Mr Muyunda on Saturday between 06:00 hours and 07:00 hours lost all 10 of his animals. They were six oxen and four cows which were struck by lightning and they all died on the spot. He is now in a state of shock, disarray, helpless and confused because he is a widower who is just alone,” he said.
