The Country Programme Framework for Zambia, covering the years 2023–2027, has been released by the Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO).
The framework’s Official launcher, Agriculture Minister REUBEN MTOLO, praised FAO for its ongoing technical assistance to the government in the fields of agriculture and related industries.
In addition to other key issues posing a serious risk to food security, such as COVID-19, according to Mr. MTOLO, there is an infestation of dogs on crop fields.
According to SUZE FILIPPINI, FAO Zambia’s Country Representative, the organization is still committed to and focused on working with the government to assist and foster development in agriculture and allied sectors.
