Youths have shown little enthusiasm in applying for loans from the Citizens Economic Empowerment Commission (CEEC), according to Tourism Minister RODNEY SIKUMBA.
Since then, Mr. SIKUMBA has urged creative young people to investigate business potential in the tourism industry and access the funding.
According to what he told ZNBC News, his Ministry has teamed up with the Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises to offer loans to young people for investments in the tourism industry of up to 3 million Kwacha.
According to Mr. SIKUMBA, the ministry has identified certain locations and prepared them for investment by young entrepreneurs.
