With a profit before tax of 1.9 billion Kwacha, ABSA Bank Zambia has the largest profit in the banking industry.
The bank also paid the most taxes in the banking industry—a total of 614 million Kwacha—to the government.
MIZINGA MELU, the bank’s managing director, praised the bank’s clients for their steadfast support and commitment in his remarks regarding the outcomes.
She added that the progress is a testament to the skills of Zambian labor and congratulated the workforce for helping the company achieve such extraordinary outcomes.
