Alibuzwi Finally Inducted In Us Military Hall Of Fame

Being the first Zambian to achieve US Army stardom, Lieutenant General Dennis Alibuzwi, commander of the Zambian Army, has been inducted into the International Fellows Hall of Fame of the US Army War College.

This occurred yesterday at Carlisle Barracks in Pennsylvania, USA, at an induction ceremony honoring him and Major General JOSEPH SEELO of the Botswana Defense Force.

Since the hall of fame’s foundation in 1988, General ALIBUZWI has been inducted 73 times. He has been honored for his exceptional military accomplishments and dedication to leadership.

The Army Commander enlisted in the Zambian Army in August of 1983, received his commission in 1984, and held a number of command and staff positions before being named commander of the Zambian Army in 2021.

General ALIBUZWI praised the US government as a peace partner for its assistance in the pre-redeployment and training of all Zambian Battalions in the Central African Republic in a speech immediately after being sworn in.

Moreover, President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA was commended for permitting General ALIBUZWI to attend the life accomplishment event by Zambia’s Permanent Representative to the UN in New York, CHOLA MILAMBO.

According to a statement Colonel Martin Liyungu, the Army’s spokesperson, made to ZNBC news, this is the case.
