“be Proud Of Your Productivity”

Teacher unions are being asked by Ministry of Education Permanent Secretary JOEL KAMOKO to take pleasure in contributing to the sector’s productivity.

In the meantime, the BETUZ executive, led by president BINSTON TEMBO, has held its positions without opposition.

Speaking during the BETUZ fifth quadrennial conference’s conclusion in Livingstone, Mr. KAMOKO questioned why Zambians place so much value on the weekend rather than working hard during the week.

JOSEPHAT MULENGA, BETUZ’s Deputy Director for the Lusaka Province, pleaded with members to refrain from discussing union business on social media.

By introducing pension plans from the union that members get upon retirement, Mr. MULENGA added, BETUZ is doing a great deal to make the lives of its members simpler.
