Bronze At Arnold Classics Goes To Cherry Muchindu

The ARNOLD classics strongman Championships saw CHERRY MUCHINDU of Zambia become the first indigenous African to take home a bronze medal.

MUCHINDU earned a podium spot at the competition held in Washington, USA, by placing third in the women’s open weight division.

She has stated in an interview with ZNBC Sports that she will keep improving through training.

The local and continental champion MUCHINDU says she wants to win silver or gold as her next goal.

The team’s travel support from the government was acknowledged by PATTERSON MUZONDIWA, president of the Zambia Strongman Federation.

According to MUZONDIWA, the athletes will keep showing their appreciation by winning medals and elevating their nation.
