SUNDAY CHANDA, a representative for Kanchibiya, is overjoyed that the government has approved funding for the construction of the Aluni Acrow Bridge in his district.
The Road Development Agency (RDA) has received the funds from the Ministry of Finance and National Planning.
According to Mr. Chanda, ZNS will build the Aluni acrow bridge, and RDA will provide technical assistance, including oversight of the bridge’s construction projects.
Initially, according to him, the bridge was one of several acrow bridges designated for funding and construction under the 2022 Supplementary Budget, which was approved by Parliament last year.
The Aluni Bridge has been a significant cause of suffering and anguish for locals for many years, according to the Kanchibiya MP.
Since then, Mr. CHANDA has expressed gratitude to the administration for heeding his request and giving the projects first priority.
