Chipata Begins Constructing Public Toiletries

A budget of 650,000 Kwacha has been been aside by Chipata to build public restrooms in the Central Business Area.

The mayor of Chipata City, GEORGE MWANZA, promises that the local government will see to it that the project is finished on time.

The absence of public restrooms in the second class trading area, according to traders who spoke after the groundbreaking ceremony, has been their worst experience.

The city council’s decision to build public restrooms in the CBD, according to traders interviewed by ZNBC news, will foster a favorable climate for trading.

One of the dealers, Mr. DAVY MUWOWO, promised that once the infrastructure is built, the traders will jealously guard it.
