Country Agriculture Program START OF FRAMEWORK IMPLEMENTATION
The National Plan Framework 2023–2027, designed to address the demands of the agriculture sector, has begun implementation by the government.
With assistance from the Food and Agricultural Organization, or FAO, this is done through technical cooperation initiatives.
Low agricultural productivity and insufficient value addition continue to be important concerns of concern, according to Agriculture Minister REUBEN MTOLO, who was speaking at his office alongside FAO representatives.
According to Mr. MTOLO, the administration is currently putting the 8th National Development Plan into action in an effort to revive macroeconomic stabilization.
FAO Southern Africa Sub-Regional Coordinator Patricia Talla reaffirmed her organization’s commitment to working with the government to advance important goals in the agricultural sector through a number of initiatives.
