The 2023 Health Professions Council of Zambia (HPCZ) Licensure Exams were taken by 742 applicants, and they were unsuccessful.

This is out of the 1,926 test takers who represented the various 34 medical specialties.

According to HPCZ Registrar FASTONE GOMA, the outcomes show a 61.5 percent pass rate.

Speaking in Lusaka, Professor GOMA stated that the findings showed that nearly 40% of training institution graduates lacked the abilities to begin clinical practice.
