FIFA World Cup Final Celebrated in Memorable way by Budweiser

The past month has seen Budweiser, the official FIFA World Cup sponsor, produce a steady stream of influencer content from DOHA that has emphasized the brand’s renown for having a game-changing energy. A once-off BUD CLUB in Lusaka offered Budweiser fans an incredible nightclub experience on the night before Argentina’s legendary victory of the FIFA World Cup, offering a Doha-like nightlife experience on Saturday, December 17; on the eve of the final match between France and Argentina.

As hip-hop singer Slap Dee and Zambia’s favorite DJs Sebastien Dutch, DJ Ama, and DJ Choolwe took the stage as the King of Entertainment, media icon Mutale Mwanza served as the energetic host for the event. Numerous Zambian celebrities and influencers attended the clubbing event with the hashtag #YoursToTake to highlight their individual paths to success and unite in celebration of the biggest athletic event in the world.

Budweiser debuted the first-ever music video to be filmed at a World Cup, “The World Is Yours To Take,” by Lil Baby, hours after the FIFA World Cup final. The video features some of the biggest goals and moments from Argentina’s triumph throughout the tournament and samples the chorus of the Tears For Fears classic “Everybody Wants to Rule the World.” It also has footage from the original film. Along with more than a hundred influential figures from around the world, including some well-known African talents like Nigerian Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and the well-known South African house music group TxC, the video also includes Zambian rapper Slap Dee on a Budweiser influencer assignment in Doha.
