16 juvenile  identifying as members of abana four (424) boys Arrested

16 young people identifying as "abana four (424) boys" were apprehended after one of them was discovered in Ndola defiling a girl.

Police in Ndola have detained several young people, including two girls who belong to the Kabushi criminal group known as the abana four (424) lads.

This is in response to information the police have learned about the emergence of criminal groups in Kabushi, Lubuto, and Masala that have been terrorizing the neighborhood.

The black dogs, team mafia, abashitina, and chinyo females gangs, according to the police, are made up of young people between the ages of 13 and 21.

According to Copperbelt Commanding Officer Peacewell Mweemba, one member of the aforementioned gangs was discovered in the act of defiling a young girl, while others were discovered in possession of psychoactive drugs.

“On Tuesday, Masala police received intelligence report to the effect that, there were some mushrooming criminal gangs in Kabushi, Lubuto and Masala areas namely black dogs, Abana four (424) boys, team Mafia, abashitina and chinyo girls.

Acting on the information, investigations were instituted and on Wednesday at about 01:30 hourd, police managed to apprehend 16 members of a criminal gang called abana four (424) boys of Kabushi township. The ages of the same gang ranges from 13 years to 21 years of which two are girls,” he said.

According to Mr. Mweemba, the gang members were apprehended at the Kazu security watch garage, which is housed within an abandoned old service station at Kabushi market.
