Flights To Lusaka Will Resume On Turkish Airlines

RECEP TAYYIB EDORGAN, the president of Turkey, has declared that Turkish Airlines will restart direct flights to Lusaka in March of 2019.

This, according to Mr. EDORGAN, is intended to increase trade between Zambia and his nation, which is now valued at 34 billion dollars yearly.

President EDORGAN expressed his desire for bilateral trade to reach $100 billion by the end of 2023 while accepting credentials from Zambia’s ambassador to Ankara, WILLIAM SIKAZWE, at the Presidential Complex in Ankara.

This might be accomplished, according to President ERDOGAN, if the Agreement on Avoidance of Double Taxation is put into effect.

In addition, General SIKZWE praised the Turkish government for the cordial ties that currently exist between Zambia and Turkey.

General SIKAZWE stated that Zambia and Turkey’s existing bilateral ties need to be strengthened.

This is in accordance with a statement made by PAMELA NKEETE-NGANDU, First Secretary Press at the Zambian Embassy in Turkiye.
