The Gov Releases A Migration Policy

The first-ever national migration, human trafficking, and smuggling policy has been released by the government.

The policy, according to Minister of Home Affairs and Internal Security JACK MWIIMBU, aims to improve migration management and fight situations of human trafficking and smuggling.

According to Mr. MWIIMBU, migration has become a pressing issue not just in Africa but across the world, necessitating competent management.

He was speaking at the policy’s introduction in Lusaka.

Additionally, JAPHET LISHOMWA, director general of immigration, stated in his presentation that the policy will increase the effectiveness of the operations of the immigration department.
