Govt To Correcte Loopholes In Procurement-HH

The government is acting to rectify procurement flaws mentioned in the Auditor General’s findings, according to President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA.

According to President HICHILEMA, numerous accusations of possible corruption in the procurement process have caused his government to express worry.

The chief of state claims that the increased funding for investigative wings in the 2022 and 2023 national budgets demonstrates the government’s commitment to fighting corruption.

This was stated in a speech delivered in his place by Justice Minister Mulambo Haimbe at the conclusion of the Anti Corruption Conference and the unveiling of the declaration for the 2021 Zambia Anti Corruption Commission.

The executive director of Transparency International Zambia (TIZ), MAURICE NYAMBE, stated that his organization supports regional analysis and advocacy in the struggle against corruption.
