Government officials claim that they are attempting to raise digital literacy levels in order to safeguard citizens from fraud and swindles.
The government will work with Bloggers of Zambia to create a community that is digitally educated in order to protect people in the digital realm, according to Technology and Science Minister FELIX MUTATI.
When DANIEL SIKAZWE, the board chair of Bloggers of Zambia, approached him, Mr. Mutati responded as follows.
The association’s goal, according to Mr. SIKAZWE, is to create an open society where digital rights are secured and protected on online media platforms.
