Government To build foot trails to Ngonye Falls

The road and foot trails leading to Ngonye Falls in Sioma District, Western Province, will shortly be built by the Ministry of Tourism through the National Heritage Conservation Commission (NHCC).

In order to draw more visitors to the area, according to Minister of Tourism RODNEY SIKUMBA, it is important to provide accessible routes to the falls.

In addition, Mr. SIKUMBA claims that the government is considering Ngonye Falls as a potential power source in addition to a tourism destination.

He has urged both domestic and foreign visitors to the falls to take in their splendor.
