President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA is concerned about the nation’s persistently high rates of new HIV infections, which should be stopped by providing everyone with testing, care, and treatment.
In response to President HICHILEMA’s appeal for increased efforts to solve the existing issues, he also raised concern over the low treatment rates for children between the ages of 0 and 15.
The President continues by saying that regardless of where they are staying, every Zambian has the right to access HIV/AIDS testing, treatment, and care.
When speaking at the World Aids Day observances in Lusaka under the theme “Equalize! Closing the Gaps,” Minister of Education DOUGLAS SYAKALIMA read the President’s speech.
