In Dire Straits, Zambia Tong-Il Moo Do Federation

Tong-il moo do practitioners in Zambia need assistance purchasing training tools so they won’t have to train on the ground.

At the recently concluded Mombasa Tong-il moo do international tournament, Team Zambia won 5 gold medals despite having a difficult time training the team.

The team needs mats, punching bags, and safety equipment, among other things, according to Federation Chairperson KUOAME BOHOUSSOU, in order to perform properly.

In an interview with ZNBC news, BOHOUSSOU claimed that the sport teaches young people discipline and knowledge while preventing them from abusing alcohol and other drugs.

He stated that the government’s assistance throughout the competition, which enabled the squad to win medals, is something for which the federation is grateful.

FELIX MUNGOYANGA, a 25-year-old gold medallist, claimed that the sport of tong-il has changed his career because he is now successful.

NATALIE CHITALU continued by stating that her family has been very supportive of her endeavors since she first began playing the sport.
