A month after having his account restored, Kanye West has once again been suspended from Twitter and accused of “inciting violence” for obscene messages.
The American rapper, now known as Ye, sent out a string of erratically timed tweets, one of which looked to combine a Jewish star with a swastika.
One user begged Elon Musk, the new CEO of Twitter, to “fix Kanye.”
West “violated our rule against encouragement to violence,” Musk wrote in a tweet.
Musk stated on Twitter that “Account will be suspended.”
After publishing anti-Semitic remarks in October, West had his Instagram and Twitter accounts suspended.
Both websites removed West’s postings after discovering they were in violation of their hate speech policies because they claimed rapper Diddy was under Jewish influence.
In March, after making a racial slur in regard to comedian Trevor Noah, West was also banned from Instagram for a day.
He has persisted in stirring up new controversies online and off.
With his face hidden behind a mask, West hailed the leader of the Nazi Party, Adolf Hitler, and ranting about sin, pornography, and the devil during an interview with American conspiracy theorist Alex Jones on Thursday.
After Parler, a right-wing social networking platform, announced that West could no longer own the company, his most recent Twitter ban came hours later.
Parlement Technologies issued a statement in which it stated: “The company and Ye have mutually agreed to discontinue the purpose of sale.”
The business said that the choice was made in mid-November.
Conservatives on the far right like Parler, a much smaller platform that bills itself as a “free speech” alternative to big platforms.
The company stated in its statement that it would “continue to pursue future opportunities for growth and the evolution of the platform for our lively community.”
