In collaboration with the Golden Valley Agricultural Research Trust (GART), the government has set up a collective cattle watering facility in the Choma district.
In addition to serving 1,000 households, the watering facility will supply drinking water to approximately 4,300 animals.
The government is still committed to enhancing the water infrastructure in the cattle sector to increase production and productivity, according to MAKOZO CHIKOTE, the minister of fisheries and livestock.
At the handover of a water reticulation system, Mr. CHIKOTE made this statement in a speech that was read on his behalf by Choma Town Clerk DAVIS MUSENGE.
