Madido Wards Of Lusaka Want Police Station

Madido ward residents in Lusaka have lamented the absence of police officers despite an uptick in crime.

The absence of a police station has been blamed for the increase in crime in the neighborhoods of Obama, Madido, Ranchdale, and Ndeke Vorna Valley.

Residents claim that during the day and at night, gangs known as JUNKIES are robbing and attacking people.

According to them, the closest police stations are located in the areas of Chelston and Kasisi, which are at least 5 kilometers away from the specified areas.

Since then, the worried locals have urged the government to buy land nearby so that a police station can be built.
