MUTALE NALUMANGO, vice president, has urged female-led organizations to unite in their advocacy efforts to prevent gender-based violence (GBV).

If women are not given more control, Mrs. NALUMANGO claims, they will continue to be subject to abuse and GBV.

She claims that the government is committed to providing more resources to support women.

When the Vice President attended the Air Power Ladies Club’s fundraiser event for the development of a skills training facility at the Zambia Air Force Twin Palm installation, she was speaking.

Patron of the Air Power Ladies Club SHARMAINE BARRY stated that the group works to support local communities both materially and financially.
