Construction of Senior Chief Kalima Konde’s Palace will start this year, according to Luapula Member of Parliament CHANDA KATOTOBWE.
According to Mr. KATOTOBWE, all procedures have been followed, and the only thing left to do is wait for final permissions before beginning the real job.
According to him, the four Chiefs in Lunga have decided that the palace for Senior Chief Kalima Konde should be the first to be built after the president ordered that chiefs’ palaces be built using CDF.
Zambia National Service, according to Mr. KATOTOBWE, has since been hired to build the palace, which will be the first one built by the government in the region.
