Pf Suspends Sampa Miles
For insulting his fellow party candidates for president, the opposition Patriotic Front has removed Matero Member of Parliament MILES SAMPA from the Central Committee.
The Central Committee has decided to suspend Mr. SAMPA for six weeks because his comments were offensive and could potentially cause division within the party, according to acting PF president GIVEN LUBINDA.
Mr. LUBINDA claimed during a news conference in Lusaka that the Central Committee was compelled to use Article 61 of the party Constitution to suspend Mr. SAMPA in order to serve as a warning to other disloyal party members.
Additionally, Mr. LUBINDA disclosed that PF presidential candidates’ campaigns have been put on hold while the party constitution is changed.
According to Mr. LUBINDA, the campaigns won’t start until the party has approved and voted on the terms of engagement.
