Police find 392 tons of COBALT stolen

About 392 tonnes of suspected stolen cobalt ore and concentrate have been found by police in Lusaka.

A stolen vehicle carrying 35 kg of cobalt ore was reported to police on the Copperbelt, according to deputy police public relations officer DANNY MWALE.

He claims that following investigations, police were able to retrieve 392 tonnes of cobalt concentrate and ore from a warehouse in the Makeni neighborhood of Lusaka.

But according to Mr. MWALE, no arrests have been made because the accused are evading capture.
