Relief For Courier Businesses

According to Bongo Hive, businesses will be able to pass the benefit on to customers as a result of the recent drop in license fees for courier services.

Reducing regulatory fees, according to Bongo Hive Director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship SIMUNZA MUYANGANA, will also enable additional Small and Medium Enterprises to access the market.

In an interview with ZNBC News in Lusaka, he stated this.

According to Mr. MUYANGANA, the government has created an atmosphere that is favorable to business and should continue to take other measures into consideration, like a single licensing process and regulatory fees.

In order for courier services to spread and help the populace, he claims the government should also put in place infrastructure like roads, cell phone, and Internet connectivity, particularly in remote areas.

According to Mr. MUYANGANA, couriers are now a crucial service required in many industries.

Recently, the government lowered license fees for courier businesses operating in all ten provinces from 15,000 to 10,000 Kwacha, while prices for businesses operating in a single province were lowered from 10,000 to 5,000 Kwacha.
