The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) has warned merchants and suppliers not to market expired goods.
The practice puts the public’s health at danger, according to CCPC Public Relations Officer RAINFORD MUTABI in an interview with ZNBC News.
Mr. MUTABI urged customers to be on the lookout for sellers of outdated goods that are unsafe for human consumption and to report them to the appropriate authorities.
Additionally, some Lusaka citizens have asked the government to routinely examine markets.
