Mzansi media personality, Somizi Mhlongo aka Somgaga wants no speeches at his funeral. He reveals he isn’t a fan of speeches, and he’s warned his friends ahead.
In a video shared on Instagram, the media personality says he will be sending a video-like invitation card to people he wants at his 50th birthday celebration.
Somgaga further stated that the event will be all about eating and drinking with no speech as he dislikes it.
He said people can give him speeches without waiting for a special occasion.
Mhlongo emphasized that no speeches should be read or said at his funeral also.
“Just come and eat and drink… No speeches. I have always told my friend, my friends know I hate speeches, I loathe the speeches, I despise speeches, and it makes you wonder, am I weird? but even if I’m the only one, I don’t care. Whether it’s my birthday, it’s my wedding, even at my funeral, preferably, no one speaks, because I believe in giving me the speeches, don’t wait for a special occasion,” he said in the video.
