The Gov Will Reintroduce The Fisp E-voucher

For the 2023–2024 farming season, according to Central Province Minister CREDO NANJUWA, the government would switch back to the E-voucher method for the distribution of inputs under the Farmer Input Support Programme (FISP).

According to Mr. NANJUWA, the administration switched back to the traditional system as a result of issues with the E-voucher that have since been resolved.

The E-voucher system, according to him, will be tested in the provinces of Central and Lusaka.

Due to a bad rainfall pattern that has caused a low crop output, Minister of Communication and Media CHUSHI KASANDA has requested that Mr. NANJUWA undertake a crop assessment in the Chisamba district.

JOEL MBOYOMA, the district commissioner for Chisamba, has commended the government for allowing the residents of Chisamba to purchase affordable maize from the Food Reserve Agency (FRA).
