Today, CYNTHIA SAMUEL-OLONJUWON, the regional director for Africa for the International Labor Organization (ILO), is anticipated in Zambia.
The annual retreat for ILO Directors in Africa, which will take place in Lusaka from January 18 to 20, 2023, will be attended by Ms. SAMUEL OLONJUWON.
Ms. SAMUEL-OLONJUWON will meet at a high level with representatives of the government and the three Tripartite partners, including the Zambia Federation of Employers (ZFE) and the Zambia Congress of Trade Unions (ZCTU), prior to the Retreat.
At State House, she will also presumably see President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA and Minister of Labor and Social Security BRENDA TAMBATAMBA.
As part of her ongoing participation, Ms. SAMUEL-OLONJUWON will also give a news conference before visiting the Lusaka South Multi Facility Economic Zone, which is an intervention area for the ILO Skills for Energy in Southern Africa (SESA) Project.
