Zambia is preparing an electric vehicle policy

Zambia has begun developing a policy that will direct the country toward the use of electric vehicles.

The Global Environmental Facility has donated two million dollars for the trial project, according to Maxwell NKOYA, acting director general of the Zambia Environmental Management Agency (ZEMA).

According to Mr. NKOYA, a number of nations have already created their roadmaps for the full adoption of electric vehicles, and Zambia is getting ready to do the same.

He claims that the transportation industry will be dominated by electric vehicles, and Zambia does not want to fall behind.
