Zambia Receives $41m In Export Deals From Angola

The Zambia Development Agency (ZDA) reports that Zambian companies that participated in the Angola exhibition closed export deals worth 41.5 million dollars.

This comes after the businesses successfully participated in the event that was held in Angola last month through exhibitions and business to business meetings.

According to ZDA Acting Director General ALBERT HALWAMPA, the export deals included foodstuffs such soy beans, animal feed, and maize seed.

He continues by saying that the agency also noted an agreement for the export of more than 500 live Brahman bulls.

According to Mr. HALWAMPA, the agreements reached demonstrate that there is a rising demand for Zambian goods in the area and that they are successfully competing.

This is in accordance with a statement made by RUSSEL HAAMUBBI, the acting ZDA Manager of Communications and Public Relations.
